Important Dates
9th grade & New Student Orientation & Camden Connection Night
Thursday, September 3, 2026
- 3:30 - 4:30pm - 9th grade & New Student Orientation (students only) Pick up and walk your schedule.
- 4:00 - 5:30pm - Camden Connection Night: Pick up schedules, bus cards, sign up for athletics, activities and clubs! Meet our community partners and have fun
First Day of School
Tuesday, September 8, 2026
- 9th grade: Arrive at 8:00am for breakfast; Orientation is from 8:30am - 10:30am.
- 10th-12th: Arrive at 10:30am.
To-do before school starts
- Review the Camden High School’s Student Handbook with your scholar
- Complete the MPS Online Registration Form (if new to MPS)
- Update your Student Contact Information in ParentCampus.
- Submit your Educational Benefits Form
- Have your Camden student sign up for Community Time.
- Download:

- Submit:
- Transportation Request Form (if bussing is needed)
- Parking Permit Request (if student is driving to school)

Patriot Pride: 100 Years Deep! ❤️🩶
As Camden embarks on its 100th year, we are excited to celebrate a century of learning, community, and Patriot pride! Throughout this school year, we will honor the rich history of our school while celebrating the students, staff, and families who continue to shape its future. The year-long celebration will culminate this spring with a special event as we officially open our new track and field facility.
Let's begin with a look back at our history. Our building was constructed in 1926 and first opened its doors to students in 1927 as Patrick Henry Junior High School. In 1937, the school expanded to include a high school. Most recently, in 2025, our school's name was changed to Camden High School. Today, we proudly carry on the traditions of the Patriots, with our school colors of scarlet red and gray.
